    Why are the keys on the keyboard not arranged in alphabetical order?

    Samuel W. Soule and Carlos Glidden and John Pratt was inventor of first Typewriter, After that Christopher Latham Sholes was the inventor of the QWERTY keyboard.

    So, when the first typewriter invented, they had keys arranged in alphabetical order. With this arrangement, people typed so fast, after That's the key which fitted on a typewriter by mechanical arrangement their arms (Connecting Part) are tangled up. So the keys were positioned randomly to actually slow down or reduce typing speed and this helps to prevent key jams.
    Why are the keys on the keyboard not arranged in alphabetical order?
    If you observe in the QWERTY keyboard, As most common words like "ETAISON" there is a sequence of words on a typewriter is the opposite direction means "EAS" is typed with the left hand and "TIN" with right hand. (T & N are common English letter is exceptional).
